Refund Policy — The Prancing Pony Games

At The Prancing Pony Games, we want every adventurer to feel confident when shopping in our tavern of imagination, strategy, and play. We aim to provide honest listings, accurate condition descriptions, and secure packaging for every card and collectible that leaves our shop. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.


Returns & Refunds Overview

Because many of our products are collectible and condition-sensitive, our return policy varies depending on the item type. Please read carefully to ensure a smooth experience.


Single Cards (Raw / Ungraded)

We do not accept returns on single cards unless:

  • The item you received is incorrect, or

  • The condition significantly differs from the listing (evidence required)

If you believe your order was misrepresented, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Required for review:

  • Clear photos or a short video of the card under good lighting

  • Photos of the packaging (envelope/toploader/etc.)

  • Your order number


Graded Cards (PSA, BGS, CGC, etc.)

All graded cards are final sale.

Grading companies determine the card’s condition, and slabs are shipped exactly as received.

Refunds may be issued only if the wrong card or grade was shipped.


Sealed Products

For sealed products (booster packs, boxes, bundles, starter decks):

  • Returns are accepted only if the item remains factory sealed

  • Issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery

  • Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless we made an error

We cannot accept returns on opened, tampered, or partially used products.


Accessories & Supplies

Eligible for return within 14 days if unopened and unused.

Examples: sleeves, deck boxes, binders, playmats, storage boxes.

Opened accessories are not eligible for return.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Digital items

  • Clearance products

  • Mystery bundles

  • Custom labels or custom orders

  • Items damaged due to mishandling after delivery


Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

Once an item is accepted by the carrier, delivery speed and handling are outside of our control.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Photos of the item

  • A description of what occurred

We will assist with a replacement or refund if applicable.

If your package is marked delivered but cannot be found, please check:

  • Neighboring units

  • Mailroom/office

  • Household members

  • Your local USPS office using your tracking number

We will help however we can, but we cannot issue refunds for confirmed delivered packages.


Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.

Refunds are only issued once returned items are received and inspected.

Return shipping (if applicable) must include tracking.

Refunds may be denied if:

  • Items are returned damaged

  • Items are returned in a different condition than they were sent

  • Evidence is insufficient

  • The return request is outside the allowed timeframe


Return Address

A return address will be provided once your return request is approved.
